"Be vigilant"-Mayor Jenny de Asis on issue about SFADS' Peace and Order Issue
Hon. Mayor Jenny de Asis, our dearest mayor of San Francisco, Agusan del Sur speaks about the municipality's PEACE AND ORDER issue.
Hi!
Sorry I wasn't able to update my blog. I can't really do a frequent update because I'm quite busy. Hope you don't mind. ;) Good things happen!
ASNHS Young Broadcasters
Young broadcasters from my dearest alma mater Agusan Sur National High School. These students were broadcasting about the recently conducted division broadcasting contest(i don't know really what's the name of the contest). By the way, this video was captured by Mr. Richard Grande, one of the DJ/Broadcaster/Manager of Smile FM in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. I don't have much words to say about this event because I haven't witnessed it, and I am avoiding fallacy of information. HEHEHE.

Sidewalk Hotel for free
There many expensive hotels/inns/lodging houses here in SanFrans. This is because of their good facilities. But, we are living now in a practical world. So, why go to expensive inns and hotels when we can have a free sidewalk hotel?
Bitaw uy, luoy pud baya ning mga badjao. They don't have permanent shelter, and they don't have enough money to support their living. Their only way to survive is to beg food and money from the people. :( The government must take actions about this.

BADJAO Badyaw badiao
Many people here in San Francisco got irritated with these badjaos. Know why? Because, they keep on begging for food and money. They will insist you to give them something, and if you don't they will curse you. Mostly people will tell them "May pag nangita mo'g trabaho kaysa sige mo ug pangayo, dagko rana inyong mga lawas", and they're right! HAHA. Bisaya mode: Kining mga badyawa ni, maski maayo ug panglawas, di nalang mutrabaho jud. Tungod na tingali na sa katapol, nabuhi nalang sa pagpangayo. I don't know why the municipality haven't done any further actions yet to solve this BADJAO MANIA.
I think it's not their fault naman na they are poor because they are lumads, mga katutubo sa sanfrans. They are the ancestors or the root of all the fruits in SanFrancisco. I think the government should give them a livelihood program which can elevate them from being a beggar.

San Francisco
The Leading Commercial center in Agusan del Sur and is marked as a first class municipality!
Its financial district is subdivided into 5 – Barangays 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5. It houses six prominent banks namely PNB, MetroBank, DBP, One Networl Bank, Green Bank & LandBank (the only place in the province that contains more than two National Banks). SanFrans, as its nickname, has the highest concentration of fashion boutiques, fast-food Restaurants (preferred by Jollibee over the capital town), Drugstores & most other commercial establishments. As we can see, SanFrans has a large area and is a perfect place for business, recreation, and commercial. It is well served by road links & it has the busiest Bus Terminal in the province. Its commercial activity does also involve within the so-called Greater SF Area (SanFranz, Barobo, Lianga, Rosario, Patin-ay, Bahbah).
San Francisco is a home to several educational institutions such as STI, Saint Francis Xavier College, San Francisco Colleges, SOCOTECH, Mt. Carmel College, AMA Computer Learning Center -for tertiary; Agusan Del Sur National High School (for secondary), San Francisco Pilot Elementary School, West central Elementary School and many other private schools (for primary). San Francisco is a “Stone’s Throw” away from Philippine Normal University, D.O. Plaza Medical Center-the most modern medical institution in the province, Agusan del Sur Government Center, Agusan del Sur Sports Complex, & Agusan del Sur Convention Center.
